Three songs by Performer and Songwriter Allison Tartalia: “New Low,” “Brand New Girlfriend,” “Not Perfect.” Allison Tartalia's eclectic sound draws upon rock, jazz and folk influences. Honest, intelligent and unpredictable, she has won over audiences around the country with her artful compositions and lively performances.

Performing 3 new original pieces that will be featured on his forthcoming album entitled “LOVE.” The pieces are composed by and will be played (accompanying me) by: Meryl Leppard (composer). “Persuade Me,” “When I Call Your Name,” “It's Spring Again.”

7:29 - FRANK SILVERA WRITER’S WORKSHOP
Presents a scene from the new play, "SPIRIT SISTERS, ”written by Diane DeVeaux, directed by Darlene Gidney. Two mysterious (Spirits) “sisters” from a women's past force her to hear these “voices” and remember long buried memories of her tragic childhood, that is driving her mad.

7:41 ALEXIS KARL & ANGELA HARRIELL
Karl - Harriel / Carmen Tripudio. Classical vocalist, Alexis Palmer Karl and modern dancer- choreographer, Angela Harriel are pleased to introduce Carmen Tripudio, meaning literally Song Dance- an exploration of the simplicities and complexities of solo voice and solo dance. Angela and Alexis have worked together previously, enjoying the stark rawness of the unaccompanied classical vocals that provide a platform for the choreography, a sonorous stage that demands the need of movement. This piece embraces both classical and modern sensibilities, creating a sinuous flow of vocals and movement, one interdependent on the other. 8:17 - INMA HEREDIA
A native of Seville, Spain, Inma has been showcased in a variety of entertainment settings, from acting and comedy to dance. She has performed in shows, plays and ceremonies arond the world as an actor, singer, flamenco dancer, comedienne, master-of-ceremonies and voiceover artist. She is wel recognized as the first-and only-flamenco comedienne in the world. International tours of her unique one woman flamenco/comedy cabaret act have garnered rave reviews. Inma is the recipient of the 2006 "Latinos Unidos" Press Award. It's always a great honour and pleasure to be part of the LES Festival.

RENO is a stream of consciousness style solo comedic performer living in New York City. She adapted her show, Reno in Rage and Rehab into an HBO comedy hour. Her show, Reno Once Removed, commissioned by Lincoln Center, moved on to the Joseph Papp Public Theater and a national tour. Rebel Without a Pause: Unrestrained Reflections on September 11th opened on October 4, 2001 at La Mama ETC in New York City, where it was extended several times due to critical acclaim. It later reopened Off-Broadway (co-produced by Lily Tomlin and Jane Wagner), and premiered at the Toronto Film Festival on September 11, 2002 in Nancy Savoca’s performance film of the same name. Reno appeared in Tony Kushner’s first play, A Bright Room Called Day at the Public Theatre, and was the voice of Edith Ann’s shrink in Lily Tomlin and Jane Wagner’s Edith Ann, a series of animated specials on ABC-TV. She’s also appeared in such films as Robert Redford’s Quiz Show, Nancy Savoca’s Twenty-Four Hour Woman, Jonathan Demme’s The Manchurian Candidate, and Bill Condon’s Kinsey. In 2003, she collaborated with Joan Baez on Regime Change in the U.S.A., along with a premiere of Rebel at the Castro Theatre in San Francisco. Reno is among 15 other distinguished solo performers (including Lily Tomlin, Spaulding Gray, Eric Bogosian and Whoopi Goldberg) whose work appears in Theatre Communication Group’s Extreme Exposure: An Anthology of Solo Performance Texts from the 20th Century, edited by Jo Bonney.

10:59 - NICKY PARAISO/LA MAMA E.T.C.
NICKY PARAISO is Performance Curator for The Club at La MaMa. He is also a Dance Curator, with Mia B.Yoo, of the La MaMa Moves! spring dance festival, now in its third year. He is a critically-acclaimed solo performance artist, whose one-man shows “Asian Boys,” “Houses and Jewels” and “House/Boy” have been presented at La MaMa ETC, Dixon Place, PS 122, Dance Theater Workshop and on tour in the US, and in theater/performance festivals in Mexico City, Dublin, Ireland and Singapore. He is currently writing a new performance piece tentatively titled “The Night the Kitchen Sink Exploded: An East Village Tale.” Nicky will be performing a work-in-progress from the new piece entitled “Song For Bill,” with choreography by Chris Yon, and dedicated to theater director Bill Hart.

Double D's” is the new comedy from Matt Morillo, writer/director of the hit shows, “Angry Young Women In Low Rise Jeans With High Class Issues,” and “All Aboard The Marriage Hearse,” is the story of two single "ne'er do well" young women in NYC who hatch the brilliant idea to open a strip club in an abandoned church, setting off a "culture" war that could only happen in "The City That Never Sleeps."
