The Xoregos Performing Company continues its 2018 season with Jean Racine's stunning Britannicus (1669) translated by Howard Rubenstein. The drama is set in Nero's palace in the First Century A.D.  Characters include Nero, his mother Agrippina and step-brother Britannicus, rightful Emperor of Rome. It's the East Coast premiere of this elegant translation. A rare opportunity to see French classical theater in America. performed in English.
