A documentary of Bunn, a hatmaker. A rare peek at a milliner’s artform and most importantly the aura of his hats. Each one is custom made. Director: Charles Martin

A rambunctious road trip that collects the stories of fishermen, cowboy, and firemen who have to face the consequences of environmental de-regulation by the Bush Administration. Director: Todd Darling

In the style of a 1908 silent movie which were produced at the Biograph Studio on 14th St. The film was created for the stage production of the Ghosts of 14th Street. Scenario and Direction by Barbara Kahn.

A modest bike shop owner tries to get a new lease despite the efforts of his slum landlord to evict him. Directed by Jacob Burkhardt

7:30 - Ingabire / Gift - 10 min
A film version of a play created by RAPSIDA, a non-profit Rwandan program based in Kigali , Rwanda, to educate and prevent the spread of STDs and to stop discrimination against those living with HIV/AIDS. Directed by Jesse Hawkes

An American born Chinese, is forced to question her own pre-conceived notions regarding race and appearance when a Cantonese speaking Caucasian man comes to her aid in a Chinatown bakery. Written and Directed by Rosanne Ma and Rio Puertollano

A series of four short films. Portraits of four women of varying ages and ethnicities struggelling for validation and self-fulfillment. Written & Directed by Liselle Mei

11:30 - Chicago 10 - 103min
The build-up to and the unraveling of the Chicago Conspiracy Trial in which 8 activists are set up as scapegoats by the Government of the 1968 Democratic Convention demonstration against the Vietnam War. Written & Directed by Brett Morgen. Mixing animation with archival footage, features the voice of Hank Azaria, Dylan Baker, Nick Nolte, Mar Ruffalo, Roy Scheider, Liev Schreiber, and Jeffrey Wright.
