Marguerite and Gloria, both in their mid-60s, have been close friends for over 40 years.  When they get together one evening to plan Gloria’s wedding to a man she has never met, a crack in their bond begins to appear.  Over the course of several months, Marguerite and Gloria begin to reveal their deepest fears, which involve love, betrayal, loss, death, and abandonment.  There is one fear, however, that is perhaps the most painful – like a little death.  They experience themselves as becoming personae non gratae.  They are, they believe, becoming old and irrelevant.  They are becoming invisible women.

This production is an Equity Approved Showcase and was made possible with support from the NYC Women’s Fund for Media, Music and Theatre by the City of New York Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment in association with the New York Foundation for the Arts.
