Written by the Turkish playwright Beliz Güçbilmez, the play depicts a cleaning lady’s delusional address to her employers in an imagined ceremony. She speaks about her work, living with her daughter in a poverty stricken neighborhood, hopelessly trying to make ends meet and of cruelties she has had to suffer. This leads to memories of lived and imagined wartime atrocities in a dystopian world she has had to navigate.
