Join us for a mesmerizing evening featuring the incredible talents of award-winning pianist Leonieke Scheuble and multifaceted musician Mimi Block, along with Melissa Slocum on bass and Nick Scheuble on drums. The evening will culminate with an exhilarating Open Mic Jazz Jam, where the audience can join in the music and indulge in Rome’s delicious complimentary Banana Puddin’!

About the Artists: Leonieke Scheuble, a celebrated pianist, has garnered numerous accolades in her young career, including the Hot House Fan Decision Award for “Best Up and Coming Young Artist.” Her astounding musical journey began at age 10 when jazz organ legend Dr. Lonnie Smith sent her a Hammond organ. Leonieke has since shared her talent as a guest lecturer and TEDx speaker, with an extensive performance schedule that showcases her exceptional artistry.
Mimi Block, a talented violinist, vocalist, and composer, was born in New Orleans and discovered her passion for jazz at a young age. After overcoming developmental challenges, she has flourished in the music scene, performing with renowned artists and intent on making her mark as a composer and producer in the jazz world.
Bass player Melissa Slocum and drummer Nick Scheuble bring their extensive experience and star power to the stage, having collaborated with some of the biggest names in the jazz industry.
About Rome Neal: Artistic Theater Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Nuyorican Poets Cafe, Rome is an accomplished actor, director, and jazz vocalist, and is the founder and host of “Rome Neal’s Banana Puddin’ Jazz.” A recent recipient of the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award and numerous other accolades, Rome is committed to promoting the vibrancy of jazz culture.
