The Voire Dire Project 5.0:  Images in Sepia

3 Sepia Photographs/3 Plays/16 Artists/1 Integrative Experience

Directed by Liz Amadio

The Voire Dire Project, Cosmic Orchid’s signature production, employs the artistic collaboration of Integrative Theatre to create plays inspired by Art.  Its inaugural cycle, in Spring 2016, featured work inspired by paintings.  The 2018 Conscious Glass Residency was inspired by art glass, with performances in the Art Glass Studio.  The 2019 cycle, The Photography Cycle, ran at The Medicine Show Theatre (a Puffin Foundation Grant recipient).  The Voire Dire Project 5.0:  Images in Sepia, postponed in 2020 due to the pandemic, is finally coming to fruition for this three-week run at Theater for the New City.  It is made possible, in part, by support from the Leon Levy Foundation COVID Relief Fund through ART-NY.
