Set in Susan Atkins’ prison cell on the eve before a key moment in the Manson murder trial, You Are Perfect is a theatrical reimagining of the Manson Family member’s life and inner demons, hurtling through time and space while questioning allegations of murder and deceit.

Theater for the New City gives special thanks to the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation for its Quality of Life Grant in support of obtaining our Handi-lift Elevator. They helped greatly in the match for the grant from the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA). A project that gives disabled and frail elderly patrons and artists accessibility to our lower-level theater and to a large part of our production facilities.
