Set in early 1990’s Brooklyn, pregnant and hapless Elise returns to the borough to bring former Catholic priest and now-bartender Emmanuel – the lover she abandoned after he left the priesthood for her – back into her life.

Joe Thristino is a writer based in Brooklyn. In the realm of playwriting, he’s a Dramatist Guild member, having been a shortlisted finalist for The Ambassador Theater Group’s Playwrights Prize (Bringer of Doom) and Best One Act at The Tennessee Williams Play Festival (Release Note). His stage work has been performed at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Players Theatre, Dixon Place, and the Times Square Arts Center, among others. 

Mark Koenig is a director, actor, and writer. Film: The Monkey (Stephen King short film adaptation), Marry Me (Universal), Spooky Action (Ma and Pa Pictures), Kill Your Darlings (Sony), My Fair Liddy (Sandwoman Pictures). TV: The Food That Built America (History Channel), The Undesirables (pilot, Shake The Tree), 30 Rock (NBC-Universal). Theatre: Our Bar (Our Bar), Arnall in Line (13th St Repertory Theatre), Treplev in The Nina Variations (Shetler Studios). As a director and writer, Mark has helped devise and produce five full-length original plays. He is an Off-Broadway director (Bringer of Doom) and the former Artistic Director of Our Bar, a site-specific company that produces independent original theatre.
