Personal Information that TNC will collect online:

TNC collects the following types of personal information: Name, Mailing address, e-mail address. TNC only collects credit card information when provided by the user to make a contribution or to register for TNC’s Festivals where a participation or submission fee is charged. This information is collected on a voluntary basis through our website (https://theaterforthenewcity.net/?page_id=393). Our E-mail list is handled by an outside service, Constantcontact.com. Personal information is accessible only by TNC staff or volunteers designated to handle requests for our mailing or e-mail lists.

TNC does not knowingly collect or maintain any personal information from children under the age of 13, unless such information is voluntarily sent to TNC.

Our Online Ticket Sales are handled by an outside service, brownpapertickets.com. A copy of their privacy policy is available at the following link: https://www.brownpapertickets.com/privacy-policy.html. Patrons purchasing tickets to TNC productions via brownpapertickets.com will be added to TNC’s e-mail list.

How Your Information May Be Shared:
TNC does not exchange, share or sell its mailing list or e-mail list with any outside productions, groups or organizations. This is a permanent policy, and will not change. TNC’s mailing list is used on a periodical basis to inform its members of upcoming productions and events at TNC. TNC’s mailing list is only accessible by TNC staff designated to handle it. Usage of TNC’s mailing list is allowed only by productions and producing organizations that are using TNC as a venue for their performances.

TNC’s e-mail list is used on a weekly basis to inform its members of current and upcoming productions and events at TNC. TNC may also send fundraising campaigns through its e-mail list. TNC’s e-mail list is accessible only by TNC staff designated to maintain and handle it. Usage of TNC’s e-mail list is not permitted by outside individuals or groups .

Policies regarding TNC’s Fundraising List:
TNC collects the following information for its Fundraising list: Name, Mailing Address. TNC’s Fundraising List is kept private, and is solely for the use of TNC’s Fundraising purposes. TNC sends a fundraising letter once each fiscal year (where the fiscal year begins on July 1 of the current year and ends on June 30 of the following year). Persons not on our current Fundraising list who make donations to TNC will be added to the Fundraising list for the following year. TNC’s Fundraising list is accessible only by TNC staff designated to handle and maintain it. TNC does not exchange, share or sell its fundraising list with any production, group or organization under any circumstances. Names of donors to Theater for the New City will appear inProgram Inserts for TNC productions, unless it is specifically requested that a donor’s name remain anonymous.

TNC is now currently soliciting donations online through its website, www.theaterforthenewcity.net. TNC will collect the following information from those who wish to donate through its website: Name, Mailing Address, E-mail address, Credit Card number, expiration date and Security Code (CVV/CVV2). All personal information is securely encrypted in transit. Persons wishing to donate to a specific production or program have the ability to do so. Your personal information is accessible to and will be processed only by TNC staff designated to maintain and handle it. TNC staff does not retain access to any credit card information. Your mailing address will be added to our fundraising list. TNC does not and will not exchange, share or sell information obtained through our website with any production, group or organization under any circumstances. Names of donors to Theater for the New City will appear in program inserts for TNC productions, unless it is specifically requested that a donor’s name remain anonymous.

If your personal information changes or you would like to review the personal information we may have on file, please e-mail us with the new information or your review request at info@theaterforthenewcity.net. If you would like to be removed from our mailing, e-mail or fundraising lists, please e-mail us at info@theaterforthenewcity.net with your request, and we will honor it.

Computer Tracking and Cookies
Our website is not set up to track, collect or distribute personal information not entered by its visitors. Our site logs do generate certain kinds of non-identifying site usage data, such as the number of hits and visits to our site. This information is used for internal purposes by TNC staff, but again, the statistics contain no personal information and cannot be used to gather such information.

A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a Web server and stored on your computer’s hard drive. TNC’s website is not set up to generate cookies, and no involuntary data is collected through TNC’s website.
