THEATER FOR THE NEW CITY
Crystal Field, Executive Artistic Director, Presents:
A Healthy House
In A Healthy House, a salesman with a one-time deal convinces Father to purchase new vinyl siding for his home. His son, Tim, is opposed to investing so much money into what he deems a tear-down, finally relenting, rather than hurting Father. But when they become embroiled in a scam, which escalates the cost of the project, it creates a rift between father and son, and raises the question of whether Father can still take care of the house, and, ultimately, threatens their relationship.
Tom Diriwachter has had seven full-length plays produced Off-off Broadway, the two most recent, Age Out and Great Kills, at Theater for the New City.
