“The Situation” and “The Jungle”
“Life Is A One Act Play” takes place during the 2020 Covid lockdown in New York City. The play consists of an American man and an immigrant woman, who are roommates in a tiny apartment. During this tragic time, the characters explore social, political, and cultural anxieties – heightened by the disturbing death of George Floyd.
During their isolation, they devise a game to keep them busy and amused.
In spite of the seriousness of the topic, “Life Is A One Act Play” is extremely witty and profoundly humorous.
